More and More Construction...

Construction continues and the children's new home is gorgeous. The gardens are looking beautiful but we have a long, long way to go with landscaping.

We have our approval to move forward with the electricity, thanks to the generosity of two of our neighbors. Getting electricity has been a major struggle for us and now it seems that struggle is over. We only need to file paperwork and pay for installation. My hope, for the future, is to be able to use solar and wind power for the children's village. Our goal is to live as lightly on our beautiful land as possibly.

A Few Move to the the Children's Village

Yesterday we moved all of our outside plants to the children's village. All of our beautiful ferns are now hanging in our new garden. I had no idea we had so many plants, it took four trips! Now our plants are happily living in the country. I will be happy and relieved when I can post our own move to Parramos. Soon!

Progress Continues

The progress continues at the children's village construction site. Our new floors are nearly finished. The colorful classroom floors are gorgeous. Our gardener is working hard to have everything finished by the time we move in.

The discoloration on some of the walls is dampness. We built with concrete block and it gets very damp. With the rainy season just over we need to let the concrete dry before we can waterproof it and then paint. I can't wait to start painting!
